On August 30, 2010 at approximately 10:45 PM a pedestrian, James Schaefer, was crossing the East Freeway in the 1300 block between FM 2100 and Spur 330.
Schaefer was struck by a vehicle, operated by Heather Jeffries, traveling eastbound in the left lane of the eastbound lanes of traffic.
