Fremont, NE – A special enforcement operation in an effort to reduce the potential for alcohol related crashes resulted in several arrests and citations in Dodge County.
Beginning in the evening hours of Friday, Sept. 16 and continuing into the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 17, the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) in conjunction with the Fremont Police Department conducted high visibility patrols in and around Fremont, in Dodge County.
One person was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), two people were cited for Procuring Alcohol for a Minor and four juveniles were cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol (MIP). Officers also made two arrests for Outstanding Warrants.
The special enforcement operation was paid for in part by a grant from LiveWise and Region 6 Behavioral Health and administered through Pride Omaha.
