Delaware – DUI Checkpoint Scheduled for Friday, October 22nd-23rd, 2010

Delaware law enforcement has scheduled four DUI/Sobriety checkpoint and three patrols to occur next weekend. The DUI checkpoints are scheduled for:
Friday October 22nd – Newark (NcCo DUI Task Force) – Checkpoint
- Woodside (DSP Troop 3)- Checkpoint
- Seaford (Seaford PD) – Patrols
Saturday October 23rd – Georgetown (Georgetown PD) – Checkpoint
- Bear (DSP Troop 9) – Checkpoint
- Smyrna (Smyrna PD) – Patrols
- Millsboro (Millsboro PD)- Patrols
Currently 22 people have lost their lives in alcohol related crashes in 2010 compared to 35 at this time last year.
