Sobriety Checkpoint set for San Miguel County

Santa Fe — State Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Friday evening July 16th in San Miguel County.

Sobriety Checkpoints are one of the most powerful weapons in the battle to reduce drunken driving.

The checkpoints not only help to get drunks off the road but are an important educational tool, these are living breathing bill boards that will take you to jail so you can contemplate the poor choice to drink and drive.
