Louisiana – Avoyelles Parish Fatal Crash

Earlier today, a single vehicle crash killed a woman from Center Point, LA.
Troopers responded to the crash around 9:30 am, which occurred on Spring Bayou Road at Zeno Desselle Lane. The crash involved a 1990 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Sandra J. Guillory (W/F 60 yrs). The Chevrolet was south bound on Spring Bayou Road when Guillory lost control and exited the left side of the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle collided with a tree.
Guillory was not wearing her seatbelt and was pronounced dead.
Routine toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
Troop E Troopers have investigated 29 fatal crashes for the year of 2010, resulting in 34 fatalities.
