Text:  On 04/15/10 at 1355 hours, Sitka Mountain Rescue and Alaska State
Troopers responded to a report of a woman who fell while hiking on a
Sitka trail near the trailhead and sustained serious internal injuries.
Sitka Mountain Rescue responded and contacted 46 yoa Stacey Woolsey of
Sitka and transported her to the trailhead where EMT’s were waiting at
1410 hours.  Woolsey was transported to the clinic for medical
treatment.

Type:  Assault IV DV, Interfering with Report of DV

Text:  On 04/19/10 at 1726 hours, Alaska State Troopers and Alaska
Wildlife Troopers responded to a report of a domestic assault that
occurred at 34 mile Haines Highway.  Subsequent investigation led to the
arrest of 51 yoa Vladimir Larry Benda of Haines for Assault IV and
Interfering with the Report of a Domestic Violence Crime.  Benda was
remanded at HPD jail without incident.

Text:  On 4/26/2010 at approximately 0820 hours Alaska State Troopers
responded to an assisted living home on E. Porcupine Trail in Wasilla
for a report of a natural death.  Investigation revealed 86-year-old
Elfrieda Neese of Anchorage had passed away of natural causes during the
night and no foul play is suspected.  Next-of-kin were on-scene and the
State Medical Examiner released the body to Heritage Funeral Home.

Type: Assault IV (DV), Disorderly Conduct (DV), Probation Violation
Text: On 4/22/2010 at approximately 2156 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report from Raven SHELDON, age 44, stating that his son, Jody
Sidney SHELDON, age 20, was intoxicated and verbally abusive towards
family members, while attempting to take the family snow machine, in the
Village of Selawik, AK.  Alaska State Troopers received a second call
from a family member, reporting that Jody was attempting to acquire a
gun in order to shoot family members.  Jody SHELDON was on Felony
Probation for Theft II at the time of this incident.  On 4/23/2010 at
approximately 1628 hours, Alaska State Troopers arrested Jody SHELDON
for Assault IV (DV), Disorderly Conduct (DV), and Probation Violation.
Jody was remanded to the Kotzebue Regional Jail where he is awaiting
arraignment.

Type: Assault I (DV), MIW IV (DV), Probation Violation
Text: On 4/23/2010 at approximately 0620 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report that Byron Jon SAVOK, age 23, assaulted a family
member with a firearm in the Village of Selawik, AK.  Further
investigation revealed that at approximately 0300 hours, on 4/23/2010,
SAVOK was intoxicated and struck his family member in the head with a
.50 caliber Desert Eagle handgun.  The family member was escorted to the
local clinic where he was treated for serious physical injuries
sustained as a result of the assault.  SAVOK was currently on
Misdemeanor Probation for the original charge of Assault IV (DV).  SAVOK
was arrested for Assault I (DV), MIW IV (DV), and Probation Violation.
SAVOK was remanded to the Kotzebue Regional Jail where he is awaiting
arraignment.

Text: On 4/23/2010 at approximately 1700 hours, Alaska State Troopers
contacted William Levy TIKIK, age 55, as he exited a residence in
Selawik, AK.  TIKIK was being sought by Alaska State Troopers for an
Arrest Warrant issued by the Kotzebue Court for a Petition to Revoke
Probation.  TIKIK was currently on supervised Felony Probation for the
original charge of SAM II.  TIKIK was arrested and remanded to the
Kotzebue Regional Jail where he is being held for arraignment.

Type: Assault II
Text: On 4/16/2010 at approximately 0128 hours, Alaska State Troopers
received a report from the Village Police Officer in Noorvik, AK,
stating that a 14 year old female had struck a 13 year old female being
accompanied by her 17 year old sister, with a snow machine.  Further
investigation revealed that the  14 year old female had been involved in
an earlier physical altercation with the other females, and chose to
strike them with her snow machine, while they were walking home.  The
two sisters were treated for their injuries at the Village Clinic and
later released.  The 14 year old female was arrested for Assault II and
remanded to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice, Nome, AK.

Text: On 4-24-10, at approximately 1200 hours, the Alaska State Troopers
contacted Jeremy Nikolai, age 30 of McGrath. Investigation revealed
Nikolai was wanted on a warrant for Failure to Register As Sex Offender.
Nikolai was arrested and transported to YKCC in Bethel. Bail for the
warrant was set at $500.00

Case Number: 10-34072

Type: DV Assault IV x 2, DV Reckless Endangerment x 2, Resisting Arrest,
Assault VI on a Police Officer

Text: On 4/24/10 at 1200 hours, the Dillingham Alaska State Troopers
received a report from several concerned citizens in Manokotak that
there was a disturbance occurring at Anuska Kusegta’s residence.
Investigation revealed that Brandon Kusegta, age 25, became violent
causing his girlfriend, age 18, and his grandmother, 72, to be in fear
that he was going to cause them physical injury.  During the incident,
Kusegta created a substantial risk of serious physical injury to his
girlfriend and their one year old daughter.  During the investigation,
Kusegta resisted and attempted to prevent his arrest, which caused a
risk of imminent physical injury to the Trooper.  Kusegta was taken into
custody without injury and remanded to the Dillingham Correctional
Facility with a $1500 bail.  The investigation into these incidents is
continuing.

Type: SAM II

Text: On 04/21/10, approximately 0900 hrs., Alaska State Troopers in
Dillingham received information regarding the possible sexual abuse of a
minor in the village of New Stuyahok.  It was reported that a 10 yoa
juvenile had been sexually assaulted by a family member.  The
investigation is ongoing.

Type: Warrant Arrest

Text: On 4/26/2010, at approximately 0900 hours, the Alaska State
Troopers while in Napaskiak arrested Katherine Maxie (age 24 of
Napaskiak) on an outstanding arrest warrant. The arrest warrant was
issue for Maxie by the 4th district court for the charge of Importation
of Alcohol into a Dry Community. Maxie was later remanded to YKCC
without incident.

Text: On 4/26/2010, at approximately 1330 hours, Napaskiak Village
Public Safety arrested Lawrence Evan (age 38 of Napaskiak) on an
outstanding arrest warrant issue by the Bethel 4th district court for
failure to comply with the conditions of his probation. Evan was later
transported to Bethel and remanded to YKCC.

Text: On 4-24-10 at 0850 hours, Alaska State Troopers received the
report of a motor vehicle collision and possible DUI on Goldstream Road
at mile post 7. Investigation led to the arrest of Alex Keene Westlake
(23 yoa of Fairbanks). Westlake was charged with one count of DUI.

Text: On 04/25/2010 at approximately 2333 hours Troopers investigated a
report of a vehicle located in the ditch near 450 Sun Way, Fairbanks.
Investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle a Phillip Wickham, 62
yo, of Fairbanks to be driving while intoxicated. The driver was
arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Text:  On 4-15-10 AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the
intersection of Peger Rd. and the Johanson Expressway, for a moving
violation.  The driver was identified as Aaron Moser, age 30, of North
Pole.  Investigation revealed that Moser was driving under the influence
of alcohol.  Moser was arrested for DUI and transported to AST Fairbanks
Post.  Moser refused to submit to a chemical breath test.  Moser was
remanded to FCC for DUI and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.  Bail
was set at $3000.

Type:  Kidnapping and Assault in the Second Degree (Domestic Violence)
Text:  On 4-15-10 AST responded to a location in Fairbanks for a report
of an assault.  Investigation revealed James Heath, age 37, of
Fairbanks, used force to prevent a family member from leaving a room and
attempted to strangle the victim during the assault.  Heath was arrested
for Kidnapping and Assault in the Second Degree, and remanded to FCC
where he was held without bail.

Trooper conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation at Nash Road
and the Seward Highway. An investigation revealed that Scott Hubbard, 24

Marijuana. Hubbard was issued a misdemeanor citation for MICS 6 and

Text: On 4/24/10, at approximately 1555 hours, AST Dispatch in Soldotna
received a report of a theft of a kayak from Quartz Creek Road in Cooper
Landing. State Troopers responded to the area and an investigation
revealed that Alan Carner, 22 years old of Anchorage, had taken the
kayak and was also in possession of Marijuana. Carner was arrested for
Theft 2 and MICS 6 and remanded to Seward Jail.

investigation into false statements made on a 2009 Sport Fishing License

Text: On April 25th, 2010 at approximately 1130 hours, The Alaska
Wildlife Troopers contacted Dustin Ashcraft, age 26, of Anchorage for
failing to submit a brown bear and goat hunt report by the time period
specified on the conditions of the permit.  Conditions stated that both
reports must be turned into ADF&G by no later then January 15th, 2010.
Ashcraft was placed on the Fail to Report List and will be ineligible to
receive any drawing, registration or tier II permits for one year.
Ashcraft was also issued two bailable citations with a fine of $110.00
for each citation.  An optional court appearance date was scheduled for
May 18th, 2010 at 1315 hours in the Juneau District Court.

Type: DUI & MIW 4th Degree

Text: On  4-25-10, approximately 1530 hours, a passenger car was
observed speeding on the Parks Hwy., near Lucus Road, Wasilla, by a
member of the AST Bureau of Highway Patrol (BHP) South-central Team.
The driver was contacted and identified as Gerald R. Manion, age 32, of
Wasilla.  Subsequent investigation revealed that Manion had been Driving
Under the Influence (DUI) of alcohol.  Further investigation revealed
that Manion was in procession of a handgun at the time he was contacted.
Manion was arrested and remanded into the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and
charged with DUI and Misconduct Involving Weapons 4th Degree.

Type: Eluding 1st / DUI / M.I.C.S. 4th / M.I.C.S. 5th / Reckless Driving
Text: On 4/23/2010 at 2002 hrs, AST dispatch received a citizen report
of a possible drunk driver headed north on the Parks Highway towards
Fairbanks.  Troopers from the AST Bureau of Highway Patrol, Northern
Team, responded to locate the car.  The car, a gold 1997 Saturn, was
located driving at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.  It failed to
yield when Troopers attempted to stop it.  Troopers pursued the car for
approximately 6 miles before it finally stopped.  The driver was
identified as Paul Albert Kelley SR, age 53 of Wasilla.  Investigation
revealed Kelley had been driving the car while impaired by alcohol.  He
was also found to be in possession of controlled substances not
prescribed to him.  Kelley was arrested for Eluding 1st, DUI, Misconduct
Involving a Controlled Substance 4th, Misconduct Involving a Controlled
Substance 5th and Reckless Driving.  He was remanded at Fairbanks
Correctional Center and held with no bail pending arraignment.

Text: On April 23, 2010 at approximately 2345 hours, AST Bureau of
Highway Patrol, Kenai Peninsula Team stopped a blue 1992 Dodge Dakota at
approximately mile 21 of Kalifornsky Beach Road in Soldotna for an
equipment violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Veronika D.
Shoup, age 45, of Kasilof, was operating the vehicle without motor
vehicle liability insurance. Shoup was issued a misdemeanor citation
with a court date to appear in the Kenai District Court.

Text: On April 24, 2010 at approximately 0109 hours, Alaska State
Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol, Kenai Peninsula Team, conducted a
traffic stop on a white 2009 Toyota for speeding at mile 77 of the
Seward Highway.  Ensuing investigation found that a passenger in the
vehicle, Daniel Resnick, age 19, of Anchorage, was in possession of
marijuana.  Resnick was issued a misdemeanor citation for Misconduct
Involving a Controlled Substance 6th degree with a court date to appear
in the Anchorage District Court and released from the scene.

Text: On April 24, 2010 at approximately 2011 hours, Alaska State
Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol, Kenai Peninsula Team, conducted a
traffic stop on a black 2007 Subaru Legacy near mile 95 of the Seward
Highway after it was reported as a Report Every Dangerous Driver
Immediately (REDDI) vehicle.  Ensuing investigation found that John
Jacobsen, age 34, of Girdwood, was driving the vehicle while under the
influence of alcohol and without a valid driver’s license. Jacobsen was
arrested and transported to Cook Inlet Pretrial Facility, where he was
remanded for Driving Under the Influence and Driving Without a Valid
License.  Jacobsen’s bail was set at $500. The vehicle was impounded
from the scene.

Text: On April 25, 2010 at approximately 2207 hours, Alaska State
Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol, Kenai Peninsula Team, conducted a
traffic stop on a silver 2007 Chevrolet Silverado for speeding near mile
58 of the Sterling Highway.  Ensuing investigation found that Glen
McGahan, age 46, of Nikiski, was in possession of several different
types of controlled substances.  McGahan was arrested and charged with
Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in 4th, 5th and 6th degree.
McGahan was transported to Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was held
without bail.  McGahan’s vehicle was impounded from the scene.

Text: On April 23, 2010 at approximately 1902 hours Alaska State
Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol, Kenai Peninsula Team conducted a
traffic stop on a gray 1998 Chevy pick-up for speeding at mile 99 of the
Seward Highway.  Ensuing investigation found that Cynthia Cason, age 51,
of Whittier, was driving the vehicle while under the influence of
alcohol.  Cason was arrested and charged with Driving Under the
Influence.  Cason was transported to Cook Inlet Pretrial Facility and
remanded on $250 bail.  Cason’s vehicle was impounded.

34 of Anchorage at the Anchorage courthouse.  Harris was subsequently
