Leon County, Florida – LCSO Investigating Shooting at Tom Brown Park

Today at approximately 4:30p.m., Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies and Tallahassee Police Officers responded to the report of gunshots heard at Tom Brown Park near the tennis courts.
As Deputies arrived on scene the Sheriff’s Office received a report from Capital Regional Medical Center of a 17 year-old male who reported being shot at Tom Brown Park and was seeking treatment.
The juvenile is in stable condition and being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound. LCSO Violent Crimes Detectives have responded to the scene and will conduct an investigation.
