Location: Wasilla
Case number: 10-3978
Type: Felony DUI, Felony Refusal, and DWLR
Text: On 1/15/2010, at approximately 0255 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to Beverly Lakes Road and Sourdough Road near Wasilla for a
vehicle in the ditch. Investigation revealed that 49 YOA Donald L.
Brown of Wasilla, was driving a green 1990 Ford pickup with a revoked
license while under the influence of alcohol. Brown lost control of his
vehicle and drove off of the roadway. Brown was arrested and
subsequently refused to provide a breath sample. Brown was transported
to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded for Felony DUI,
Felony Refusal, and Driving with a Revoked License. Brown was held on
$15,000 bail.

Type: Felony DUI, Felony Refusal, DWLR, and Avoidance IID
Text: On 1/16/2010, at approximately 0351 hours, Alaska State Troopers
conducted a traffic stop at Johnson Road and Hollywood Road near Wasilla
for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed that Michael P. Hegener
24 YOA of Wasilla, was driving a blue 2003 Jeep Cherokee with a revoked
license and no IID while under the influence of alcohol. Hegener was
arrested and subsequently refused to provide a breath sample. Hegener
was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded
for Felony DUI, Felony Refusal, Driving with a Revoked License, and
Avoidance of an Ignition Interlock Device. Hegener was held on $10,000
bail.

Type: Warrant Arrest
Text: On 01-16-2010 at approximately 1816 hours, Alaska State Troopers
arrested Michael Patterson, age 42 of Palmer, at a residence located off
of Maud Rd, near Palmer. State Troopers had responded to the residence
in order to serve Patterson with an outstanding warrant for his arrest
for the original charge of Violating a Domestic Violence Protective
Order. Patterson was subsequently transported to Mat-Su Pretrial
Facility where he was remanded into custody and is being held without
bail on the warrant.

Type: Driving in Violation of Instructional Permit
Text: On 1-15-10 at approximately 2340 hours, AST stopped a 1993 Ford
Ranger pickup for a broken tail light on Powell Street. The driver and
sole occupant was identified by his Alaska Instructional Permit as 17
year old Christopher J. Panamarioff of Kodiak. Panamarioff was issued a
criminal citation for Driving in Violation of an Instructional Permit.

Type: Violating Conditions of Release
Text: On 1/15/10 at approximately 1221 hours, AST and AWT troopers
arrested Alfred Charliaga, 33 of Kodiak. Charliaga was contacted due to
a disturbance that had been reported earlier that day. He was
transported to the Kodiak Police Department Jail where he was remanded
with bail.

Type: Sexual Assault

Text: On 1/13/2010, at approximately 1530 hours, the Alaska State
Troopers in Bethel received a report regarding a possible sexual
assault, which had occurred during December 2009 in the Village of Eek.
The investigation is currently ongoing. It is unknown at this time of
alcohol was a contributing factor in this incident.

Type: Warrant Arrest

Text: On January 15, 2010, at 2205 hours, Alaska State Troopers and a
Village Public Safety Officer arrested Juanita JACKSON, 18, of Akiak, on
an outstanding bench warrant. JACKSON failed to appear for a hearing
stemming from a minor consuming alcohol charge. JACKSON was transported
to Bethel and remanded to YKCC. Bail was set at $100.

Type: Driving While License Suspended (DWLS)

Text: On January 15, 2010 at 2256 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted
William MCCARR, 26, of Bethel, in a 1998 Chevy Blazer at the Akiak
Airport. Investigation revealed that MCCARR was driving a vehicle while
his license was suspended. MCCARR was issued a summons to appear in
court for DWLS.

Type: Burglary

Text: On 1/15/2010, at approximately 1430 hours, the Alaska State
Troopers in Bethel received a call from the Village of Napaskiak
reporting that sometime during the holiday school break, from 12/22/2009
to 01/15/2010, the Napaskiak School and two of the teacher housing units
had been burglarized. The investigation is currently ongoing. It is
unknown at this time of alcohol was a contributing factor in this
incident.

Type: House Fire
Text: On 1-15-10 at 1208 hours, Alaska State Trooper received the report
of a residential fire at 148 Reynolds Lane near 17 mile Chena Hot
Springs Road. The structure was a total loss and no injuries were
reported.

Text: On 1/15/2010 at 0745 hours, Alaska State Troopers and The North
Star Volunteer Fire Department responded to 2106 Flight Street of North
Pole for a chimney fire. The fire was extinguished within about 10
minutes. Damage to the home is estimated about $20,000 dollars.
Investigation is on-going.

Type: MVC – Injury
Text: On 1/16/10, at 1320 hours, Troopers responded to mile 15.4 of the
Seward Highway for a report of a single vehicle rollover. An
investigation showed that Monica Lettner, 34 of Anchorage, had lost
control of her vehicle due to ice and snow on the roadway. Her vehicle
went into the ditch where it rolled once. Lettner was transported to
the Seward Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Lettner was
wearing her seat belt and alcohol was not a factor.

Type: Motor Vehicle Collision – Damage Only
Text: On 1/15/10 at approximately 2016 hours the AST Bureau of Highway
Patrol, Kenai Peninsula Team and Girdwood Troopers responded to mile 101
of the Seward Highway for a report of a single vehicle collision.
Investigation revealed that Jennifer A. Ross, age 28, of Anchorage, was
traveling north bound on the Seward Highway when she lost control of her
vehicle. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled onto its side. The
driver was uninjured in the collision. She reported wearing her safety
belt. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

Location: Airport at Lathrop, Fairbanks AK.
Case number: 10-4310
Type: MCA / DWSOL.
Text: On 1-16-10 at 0408 hrs, the AST Northern Bureau of Highway Patrol
stopped an older model Ford Explorer for an equipment violation and for
throwing alcohol containers out of the passenger window. Investigation
revealed the driver of the vehicle identified as Matthew A. Bouton 20,
YOA of Fairbanks AK was operating the vehicle on a suspended OL.
Investigation revealed the passenger of the vehicle identified as
Deserae D. Kraus 18, YOA of Fairbanks AK had consumed alcohol and was
throwing alcohol containers out the window. Bouton was arrested for
DWSOL and Olsen was issued a summons for MCA and released on scene.
