Nashville, Tennessee – Curtis Marshall Fatally Stabbed During Family Fight

A family fight influenced by alcohol resulted in this morning’s stabbing death of Curtis Marshall inside an apartment at 2715 Whites Creek Pike.
North Precinct officers responded to a 911 call from the apartment at 5:30 a.m. Marshall, 66, of Pecan Street, was found dead in the kitchen from multiple stab wounds apparently inflicted by his daughter, Bonita Lobo, 42. Lobo was present when officers arrived and made subsequent statements implicating herself in the death. She could not be interviewed in detail due to her intoxication. Also present was Lobo’s mother, Mary Moore, 62, at whose apartment the homicide took place. All three persons had been drinking in the hours preceding the fight.
The investigation is continuing. No charges are being placed against Lobo today. She has been committed to a medical facility for psychological evaluation.
