On November 2, 2009, the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigative Division and the Immigration Customs and Enforcement Agency concluded an investigation concerning a Lake Charles man possessing child pornography.
Investigators from the Louisiana State Police and the Immigration Customs and Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant on an address in the Moss Bluff area early Monday morning. During the search, investigators found evidence of Child Pornography located on a computer inside the residence.
Investigators interviewed Shelton Peter Fruge, 34 of Lake Charles, La. in reference to the child pornography found on his computer. During the interview, Fruge confessed to the possession of child pornography and to the molestation of a relative under the age of 10.
Fruge was arrested by the Louisiana State Police without incident and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Prison on rape charges.
The investigation continues by the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigative Division.
