Killeen Police are investigating the death of a 22 year old Fort Hood soldier on Monday, November 23, 2009, in the 3400 block of Victoria Circle.
Officers responded to 3406 Victoria Circle on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:19pm, after receiving a 911 call about a shooting that had just occurred.
The officers arrived to find a male inside apartment #D suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest area. The paramedics arrived and transported him to the Skylark Airfield to be airlifted to the hospital.
The victim passed away while enroute to the airfield; Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke pronounced Joshua M. Wyatt deceased at 12:10am and ordered an autopsy to be performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
