Lincoln, Nebraska – Girlfriend Arrested in Fatal Stabbing

On Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 2:09 p.m., officers from the Lincoln Police Department responded to a stabbing at 240 S. 26th Street #4. Lisa A. Ramirez Rodriguez reported to her neighbor that she just killed someone and needed help.
Upon officer arrival, thirty-one year old Christopher Michael Grant was found in the apartment with a stab wound to his chest. He was transported by Lincoln Fire & Rescue to a Lincoln hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Christopher’s girlfriend, Lisa A. Ramirez Rodriguez, was arrested at the scene. She was later lodged in the Lancaster County Jail for 1st degree Assault and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
This is the fourth homicide in Lincoln in 2009
