Major Incidents Reported for November 09, 2009
Robbery:
A 24-year-old male reported being robbed while in a parking lot in the 1800 block of Buchholzer Boulevard Saturday afternoon. The victim said he was walking through the parking lot around 3:00 PM when the suspects approached him. One suspect punched him knocking him down, while the other suspects took his debit card and $120.00 in cash before fleeing.
The suspects were described as three black males, 17 – 20 years old. They were between 5’08” – 6’0”, between 140 – 180 lbs., They were all wearing black jeans and blue, black and tan coats.

Robbery:
Employees at the Circle K located at 997 Brown Street reported being robbed over the weekend. The clerk reported the suspect entered the store around 8:30 Sunday night. The suspect approached the counter, pulled out a black revolver handgun and showed it to the clerk. He then put the gun away, handed the clerk a white plastic bag, demanded money and Newport Cigarettes. The clerk filled the bag with cigarettes and an unreported amount of cash, and the suspect fled.
The suspect is a light complexioned black male, 38 – 48 years old 5’04” – 5’06”, 140 –145 lbs. He was unshaven and thin build. He was wearing black sunglasses, tan shirt, black hat, white t-shirt, and dark blue jeans.

Felony reports for the weekend events
Lance F Miller, 27, 751 Roslyn Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Forgery. Lance attempted to buy drinks at The Dorm Bar using counterfeit money. He was found to be in possession of 5 counterfeit $20’s and 3 counterfeit $10’s.
Anthony Kisner, 25, was charged with Murder. Anthony stabbed the victim multiple times causing the death of the victim.
Vernon J. Carter, 29, 1190 Chester St., Akron, Ohio was charged with Grand Theft and Theft. Vernon went to visit a friend at 705 Inman St. While the victim was in the bathroom, Vernon stole money and vehicle from the victim.
Allen Tremain Grier, 37, 528 Bacon St., Akron, Ohio was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Felonious Assault. Allen grabbed the victim’s purse then hit the victim with his vehicle.
Alex V. Dowdell, 31, 999 Copley Rd., Akron, Ohio was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Felonious Assault. Alex hit the victim in the face causing a fracture to the victim’s cheeck bone. Alex then stole cash, car keys and a phone from the victim.
Tyrone D. McGinnis, 30, 413 Beechwood St., Akron, Ohio was charged with Felony Theft and Open Container. Tyrone stole food and a shopping cart from Acme #1. He was apprehended at Harcourt and Dartmouth.
Terrence D. Powell, 45, 304 N Firestone Blvd., Akron, Ohio was charged with Domestic Violence Menacing, Domestic Violence and Violation of a Protection Order. The victim has an active protection order against Terrence until 10-19-12. Terrance has a prior conviction for domestic violence from 10-18-95.
Nathaniel E. Cargill, 34, 1846 Delia Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Improper Handling of Firearm in Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, Weapons under Disability and Driving under Suspension. Nathaniel was observed sleeping in a vehicle at Grant and Conn St. Nathaniel was found to be driving on a suspended licence. A loaded gun was found inside the vehicle. The gun was found to have been stole out of Tallmadge Ohio.
Edward E. Wolfe Jr., 40, 694 Evans Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Tampering with Evidence, Aggravated Menacing, Carrying a Concealed Weapon Knife, Domestic Violence Menacing and Disorderly Conduct. Officers were called to 694 Evans Ave for a domestic with a knife. Edward was observed by officers holding a knife. When Edward saw the officers he threw the knife into the garage.
Lashawn C. Williams, 27, 134 N Arlington St., Akron, Ohio was charged with Felonious Assault. The victim stated that she attempted to buy drugs from Lashawn with a counterfeit bill. Lashawn hit the victim with a brick.
