Vallejo, California – 1 Dead in Shooting – Cherry Street

Upon arrival the officers discovered a 19 year old Hispanic male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by fire and medical personnel. The victim has been identified as Ivan Orozco from Vallejo. Further investigation revealed that Orozco was the victim of an attempted robbery by three suspects.
The suspects are described by witnesses as three black males with hooded sweatshirts who fled the scene. This is Vallejo’s ninth homicide this year.

On November 4, 2009, at approximately 1:43 AM, Vallejo Police officers responded to a call of multiple gun shots heard in the area of the 900 block of Cherry Street in South Vallejo.
