Fugitive Arrested
The Columbus Police Department has arrested Nathan A. Lewis, 27, with a last known address on Roscoe Street in Akron. Lewis was arrested in the 300 block of East 12 Street in Columbus, Ohio. He was taken into custody without incident.

Lewis was wanted for a Felonious Assault that occurred at a restaurant in the 500 block of White Pond Drive where he was employed. The victim reported that she confronted Lewis about overcharging customers. During a brief argument, Lewis punched the female victim in the face before fleeing.

Lewis was also wanted on a Drug Abuse Marijuana offense.

Lewis is currently in the Franklin County Jail awaiting extradition back to Summit County.

Fugitive Fabian Ferguson Arrested – (photo available) – opens new photos window.
Fabian A. Ferguson, 37, of Kenmore Boulevard in Akron has been arrested. Ferguson was picked up the U.S. Marshals Office Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force around 11:00 this morning near the intersection of Peckham Street and Wildwood Avenue.

Ferguson was wanted for Aggravated Burglary and Felonious Assault from an incident that occurred last night with his neighbors. Ferguson kicked in the neighbor’s door and stabbed the male victim. This was all over loud music.

Wanted Fugitive

The Akron Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are asking for assistance from the public for information that could lead to the arrest of Hollis A. Huff, Jr. Huff is wanted for Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Robbery, and Forgery.

Huff is wanted for a home invasion that occurred on July 21, 2008 in the 700 block of Beardsley Street. The victim, a 22-year-old female, reported four male suspects entered her house. One suspect put a gun to her head while the other males searched her house. The resident’s dog attacked the suspects before they fled in an awaiting car. The victim chased the suspects down the street, grabbing the temporary license plate from the car.

Hollis A. Huff, Jr has previously lived on Kipling Street and Excelsior Street. He is medium complexioned, 20 year old, black male. He is 5’04” and 148 lbs.

A reward is being offered by the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force for information directly related to the arrest of Hollis A. Huff, Jr.

Major Incidents Reported for November 03, 2009
Aggravated Robbery:

A 24-year-old male reported he picked up male near the intersection of South Arlington Street and 5th Avenue around 10:30 last night to buy marijuana. Once inside of the victim’s car, the suspect pulled out a gun and robbed the victim of ten dollars, a diamond engagement ring, and a camera before fleeing.

The victim went home and called police. Officers located the suspect, a 16-year-old male, near the intersection of Welton Avenue and South Arlington Street. After a brief foot chase, officers arrested the male at the rear of a business in the 800 block of South Arlington Street. Officers also recovered the gun used in the robbery.

The juvenile was arrested for Delinquency by Aggravate Robbery and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was placed in the custody of the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility.

Aggravated Burglary/Felonious Assault:

A 37-year-old male kicked in his neighbor’s apartment door and stabbed a male in the shoulder; all of this was over loud music. Officers responded to the 800 block of Kenmore Boulevard around 12:30 this morning for a fight with injuries. The victims, an 18-year-old female and a 20-year-old male, reported they were watching television when they heard someone banging on their door. Before they could open the door, a male kicked the door in and assaulted the victims. During the fight, the male victim was stabbed in the shoulder. The suspect fled before officers arrived.

The male victim, Steven Flight, refused medical attention.

The suspect was identified and warrants were signed. Fabian A. Ferguson, 37, of Kenmore Boulevard is wanted for Aggravated Burglary and Felonious Assault. Ferguson is a black male, 6’2” and 187 lbs. Anyone with information on Fabian Ferguson’s whereabouts is asked to contact our department.

Felony reports for November 3, 2009
Renee A. Nero, 24, 5148 Clardill, Canton, Ohio was charged with Uttering. Renee attempted to cash a check from an account in the name of Visiting Nurses Association. The check had an incorrect routing and account number on it. It also lacked any watermarks and/or other security features. Renee has never worked for Visiting Nurse and could not explain why she had the check.

Rasheem J Carr, 18, 1121 Wyley Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Intimidation. Rasheem went to a victims home and shouted to other suspects to beat the victim because he had snitched on Rasheem.

David V. Youmans, 37, 772 Roselawn Ave #2, Akron, Ohio was charged with Domestic Violence and Domestic Violence Menacing. David has a prior conviction for domestic violence from 10-28-08.

Charles S Mills, 55, 48 Bachtel Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Breaking and Entering and Criminal Tools. Charles and three other people broke into 175 W Long St and took a stove. As they drove away with the stove it fell out of the back of a truck. As they were putting the stove back in the truck, officers arrived and arrested all involved.

Cindy L. Lollar-Owens, 51, 979 Copley Rd., Akron, Ohio was charged with Receiving Stolen Property. Cindy pawned some jewelry that had been stolen from a home invasion robbery.
