Santa Fe, New Mexico – Man Arrested on 10th Offense DWI

Santa Fe – State Police Officers patrolling Saturday afternoon observed a traffic infraction that lead to the arrest of a repeat DWI offender.
While patrolling near the intersection of State Road 599 and Airport Road just south of Santa Fe, State Police officers observed a traffic infraction that lead them to a traffic stop and quickly discovered that the driver 51 y.o. Frank Anchondo of Espanola, NM, was intoxicated.
Anchondo was subsequently placed under arrest for his 10th offense DWI after he failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests administered. Anchondo was transported for a blood draw and subsequently booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center and also charged with suspended revoked drivers license, concealing identity, open container, no insurance and improper use of registration.
