DUI Checkpoints & Crime on the Road, Sobriety Checkpoints

Update from previous Press Release #2009-1010(27). The total number of arrests from the joint agency gang task force warrant roundup is forty-seven. The arrests were made over a three day period.

Of the forty-seven arrestees, forty were adults and seven were juveniles. Most of the arrestees were either active gang members or their associates of the following gangs which operated in San Angelo: 31st Street, Aryan Brotherhood, Aryan Circle, Crips, Darkside Locos, Latin Kings, Southside 25, Texas Syndicate, and West Texas Tango Blast. Fourteen are non-gang members who were arrested on local and state warrants.
