Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Department – Sobriety checkpoint set for Halloween
The purpose of this sobriety checkpoint is to focus on alcohol related offenses through very visible and active law enforcement. In addition to a checkpoint the OCSO will also have several saturation patrols looking for drivers who are operating vehicles under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office attempts to conduct at least one sobriety checkpoint each month. Halloween is a day many people celebrate with alcohol, and with children walking in neighborhoods late into the night we want to do what we can to make the streets safer.
