Delaware – Dover Resident Sexually Assaulted

On Saturday October 17, 2009 at approximately 12:45am the victim, (25 year old female Dover resident), was contacted by Dover Police Officers on McKee Road. The victim reported that she had been abducted from the area of North Governors Ave. and Fulton St. by an unknown white male and driven to the parking lot of 1585 McKee Road where she was sexually assaulted by the defendant.
The victim advised she was able to escape from his vehicle and run to the area she was contacted by Officers. Based on the description of the defendant provided by the victim, including a detailed description of his vehicle, the defendant was later positively identified by the victim.
Arrests warrants were obtained and the defendant was taken into custody at his residence without incident on this date.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Kent General Hospital.
