California – Anaheim Police Issue Angels Postseason Information
As the Angels enter the 2009 American League Championship Series, the Anaheim Police Department extends these reminders to the public.
TRAFFIC AND PARKING
• Please allow yourselves ample time to arrive at the stadium, understanding that many others will be traveling to the area at the same time.
Game time on Monday October 19th is 1:13pm.
Game time on Tuesday October 20th is 4:57pm
In the event of a game on Thursday October 22nd, game time is 4:57pm and there will also be an evening event at the nearby Honda Center.
• People not going to Angel Stadium are asked to avoid the area during peak traffic time and take alternate routes.
• We encourage people to carpool to reduce the number of vehicles attempting to locate parking. • Please follow the directions of traffic control personnel, who wish to get you to the closest parking locations.
• Oversized vehicles such as RV’s and vehicles with trailers will not be permitted to park in the Angel Stadium parking lot during the post-season games. These vehicles will be directed to alternate locations.
• Alternate off-site parking is available surrounding the stadium for parking during the Division Series games.
MISC. NOTICES
• Re-sale or purchase of baseball tickets from re-salers on stadium property is prohibited. For your security, you should purchase event tickets from authorized dealers and brokers.
• Please remember that alcoholic beverage consumption in the Angel Stadium of Anaheim parking lot is prohibited.
• Only ticket holders will be allowed on stadium property during games, including the parking lot. We ask the public’s assistance and cooperation in our mission to ensure guests have an enjoyable time in a safe and secure environment.
PARKING LOT
• Parking prices for the ALDS & ALCS general parking is $10.00
Preferred parking – $15.00 (only available for season parking books)
Bus/limos – $20.00
• Angel Stadium parking lot opens 2 1/2 hours prior to the start of the first pitch. No vehicles will be admitted onto the lot before that time.
• Angel Stadium parking lot is only open to ticket holders. All guests must enter the ballpark when the game begins.
• Loitering is prohibited in the parking lot and will be enforced.
• Oversized vehicles (like RV’s and cars with trailers) will not be permitted in the Angel Stadium parking lot during the post-season.
• Alcohol consumption is prohibited in the Angel Stadium parking lot.
• Gas/propane barbeque grills with a fuel valve turnoff can be used. The use of charcoal is prohibited in the parking lot.
• Unlicensed motorized vehicles (like gas or electric powered scooters) are prohibited.
• On-site catering is prohibited.
• Vehicles are not allowed to take up more than one parking space and empty spaces cannot be reserved or used for cooking / tailgating.
• Angel Stadium parking lot closes one hour after the conclusion of the baseball game.
• Angels Baseball reserves the right to refuse entry to any vehicle that has exterior advertising on it or poses a security concern.
BALLPARK
• The Home Plate Gate will open two hours prior to the start of the game. All other gates will open 90 minutes before the game.
• There will be no ballpark re-entry during the postseason. Please be sure to bring all items that you need for the game as you will not be allowed to go back out to the parking lot or your vehicle.
• Any style of bag that measures 16” by 16” by 8” or smaller will be permitted inside Angel Stadium of Anaheim. All bags exceeding these dimensions will not be allowed inside the ballpark.
• Hard-sided coolers are not allowed inside Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
• All bags that meet the size guidelines will be subject to search prior to entry.
• There are no bag storage facilities outside of Angel Stadium. Bags that do not meet our size guidelines or refuse to be searched cannot be stored or watched by Angel Stadium staff.
• No weapons are allowed inside Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
• Noisemakers or musical instruments of any kind (like cow bells and air-horns) are not permitted inside Angel Stadium. The only exception is Angel Halo Sticks.
• Only plastic water bottles, up to one liter in size, are permitted inside Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
Plastic bottles with soda or sports drinks, or frozen water bottles will not be allowed inside the facility
