DUI Checkpoint Scheduled
On Friday, September 25, 2009 from 8:00pm until midnight in the 5900 block of South Magnolia, Ocala, FL the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit will be conducting a DUI checkpoint. This checkpoint is part of the Sheriff’s Office ongoing efforts to educate the public on the dangers of driving while intoxicated as well as the apprehension of drunk drivers on Marion County roadways.
If you plan to drink, arrange to use a designated driver, public transportation, or a taxi. Remember, if your breath alcohol level is “Over the Limit,” or you are impaired, you’ll be “Under Arrest.”
