Idaho – Missing Motorcyclist Found in Fatal Crash near Salmon

On Monday, August 31, 2009 at approximately 6:00 pm, Donald Masters was traveling south on US 93.
At milepost 322, Masters failed to negotiate a sharp curve, left the roadway and went down a small embankment into an empty irrigation ditch next to the Salmon River.
Masters was thrown from his motorcycle. He was wearing a helmet, but died at the scene. On Sunday, September 13, 2009 Donald Masters was reported as an overdue motorist to Lemhi County.
On Sunday, September 20, 2009 at approximately 7:56am, Masters was found by 3 persons who were scouting for elk. The crash is under investigation by Corporal Hedges with assistance from Lemhi County.
