Type:  DWLS
Text:  On 09-16-2009 at approximately 2200 hours, Alaska State Troopers
contacted Sharon M. Camp, age 23 of Wasilla, while conducting a welfare
check at a residence located off of Hayfield Dr, near Wasilla.
Investigation revealed Camp had been operating a 1992 Chevrolet Blazer
with a suspended license.  Camp was subsequently issued a criminal
citation and a court date for DWLS and was released at the scene.

Type: DUI, Criminal Mischief IV

Text:  On 09/17/2009, at approximately 0219 hours, Alaska State Troopers
conducted a traffic stop on a grey 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse for an
failure to stop at a stop sign and erratic driving, in a highway safety
corridor on Knik Goose Bay Road near the intersection with Foothills
Drive, in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed that Duane R. Ploog, 35, of
Wasilla was operating the vehicle while impaired and under the influence
of alcohol. During the investigation Ploog head butted a gas grill
causing approximately $250.00 in damage. Ploog was arrested, transported
and remanded to the Mat Su Pretrial Facility where his bail was set at
$500.

Type: NVOL

Text: On 09/17/2009, at approximately 0110 hours, the Alaska State
Troopers contacted Diane K. Dragovich, age 48, of Wasilla who was
contacted as the driver of a vehicle which was stopped for a moving
violation.  Investigation revealed that D. Dragovich was driving without
a vaild drivers license.  D. Dragovich was issued a criminal citation to
appear in court at a later date and was released at the scene without
further incident. D. Dragovich’s vehicle was released at the scene to a
licensed driver with her consent.

Type:  MVC-D
Text: On 09-16-2009 at approximately 1625 hours, Alaska State Troopers
responded to a report of a two motor vehicle collision at Palmer-Wasilla
Highway and Ranch Rd, near Wasilla.  Investigation revealed Kaitlin J.
Stein, age 17 of Palmer, was operating her 1998 Isuzu Trooper westbound
on Palmer-Wasilla Highway when she struck the rear end of a 2005
Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Jeanne A. Borega, age 62 of Wasilla.
Stein was issued a citation for failure to exercise due care to avoid a
collision.  Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $500.  Both parties
were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision and no
injuries were reported.

Type: Burglary in the Second Degree

Text: On 9-17-09, at approximately 1100 hours, Alaska State Troopers in
McGrath received a report of a break in at the Chuathbaluk City
building. Investigation revealed that an unknown person entered the
building and took an unknown amount of cash.  Investigation is
continuing, anyone with information about this crime is asked to call
the Alaska State Troopers at 524-3052.

Type: Disorderly Conduct

Text: On 9-1-09, at approximately 1725 hours, the McGrath VPSO responded
to a report of a fight at Joe’s Bar, in McGrath. Investigation revealed
that Walter Newman, age 55 of McGrath, had acted in a disorderly manner.
Newman was arrested, and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

received report that Michael Jordan, 31 of Mentasta, had punched his
girlfriend in the face and later had broken the windshield of her car.

Text: On 09-17-09, Troopers concluded an investigation that revealed
that Christopher ARRENHOLZ, 45 of Healy, was responsible for many
burglaries and thefts in the Healy area from 2006 to 2009.   Many items
and thousands of dollars of property were returned to owners from a
property in Healy.  ARRENHOLZ was arrested and transported to the
Fairbanks Correctional Center and held without bail.  The investigation
is on-going because property believed to be stolen was seen at
ARRENHOLZ’s property.  If anybody in the Healy area is missing
electronic equipment, electrical tools, or hand tools, they are asked to
contact Sgt. DeCoeur.  The investigation is on-going.

Text:  On 09-15-09 at approximately 1340 hours, Raymond Morris, 56, of
Soldotna, reported he came home and spotted an unknown male running down
his driveway pushing a wheelbarrow that was holding his TV.  Morris
stated the suspect dropped the wheelbarrow and TV and ran off into the
neighborhood.  Morris stated he did not recognize the male and could
only give a brief description.  At this time there are not suspects or
leads.  Nothing else was taken from the residence.  The TV was estimated
at $1800.00 and was broken when it hit the ground.

Text: On 9/15/09 at approximately 0925 hours, Soldotna AST received a
report from Billy Stuart, age 50 of Kenai, that his hunting partner
Ronald “Jake” Vanderwall, age 37 of Soldotna, had failed to return to
camp the previous evening.  Alaska State Trooper Helo 3, flew the area
and located the missing hunter and transported him back to his camp.

Text: On 9/15/09 at approximately 1108 hours, Doug Baxter, age 52 of
Sterling, reported to Soldotna AST that sometime during the previous
evening tools and building materials had been stolen from his job site
in the Timbers subdivision at the end of Poppyridge Road.  Investigation
found $1000 in tools and $1500 in wire had been stolen.  Anyone with
information is asked to contacted the Alaska State Troopers at 262-4453
or Kenai Crimestoppers.

Type: NVOL / Warrant Arrest X2
Text: On 9/15/09 at approximately 1416 hours, Soldotna AST contacted a
suspicious vehicle at a residence on Helgeson Road in Soldotna.
Subsequent investigation found the driver, Randy Marcrum age 42 of
Soldotna, was driving without a valid license.  Further investigation
found Marcrum currently had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
The warrants were for failing to appear at arraignments on charges of
assault IV and petition to revoke probation.  Marcrum was taken into
custody without incident and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility
where he was held in lieu of $1750 bail.

Text:  On 09-15-09 at approximately 0750 hours, Troopers responded to a
report of an assault in Nikiski.  After an investigation, Janeen Garvin,
54, of Nikiski was arrested for Assault 4th DV.  Garvin was transported
to Wildwood Pretrial were she was remanded without incident.

Type: MIW IV, Disorderly Conduct, MCA
Text: On 9/17/09 at approximately 0151 hours, AST received a report that
a young male had jumped out of a moving taxi at approximately mile 5
East End Road, and was now walking barefoot down the roadway.  AST
located the individual, still walking in the roadway, and identified him
as Lance Cahoon-Dinwoodie, age 19 of Homer.  Investigation revealed that
Cahoon was intoxicated and in possession of metal knuckles.  Cahoon was
arrested for Misconduct Involving Weapons IV, Disorderly Conduct, and
was cited for Minor Consuming Alcohol.  Cahoon was booked at Homer Jail
on $750 bail.

Text: On 9/15/09, Aniak Wildlife Troopers contacted Jay A. Dull, age 41,
of Nightmute, on the Kuskokwim River near Crooked Creek.  Investigation
revealed Dull had killed a bull moose on in Unit 19B on 9/12/09 and had
failed to validate his harvest ticket of leave evidence of sex attached.
Dull was cited into Aniak Court with total bail set at $320.

Text: On 9/14/09 Aniak Wildlife Troopers contacted Ray S. Simeon age 25,
of Aniak after he was observed operating a four wheeler at a high rate
of speed.  Subsequent investigation revealed Simeon was under the
influence of alcohol, had a cancelled driver’s license, and was on no
alcohol conditions of release in two previous cases.  Simeon was
arrested and charged with DUI, DWLC, and two counts of Violate
Conditions of Release.  Simeon was transported to YKCC by Aniak AST
pending arraignment.

Text: On 9/13/09, in the St. Mary’s District Court, Malcolm Heckman, 23
YOA of Pilot Station, Justin Nick, 22 YOA of Pilot Station and Larry
Fancyboy, 21 YOA of Pilot Station, all pled guilty to using a spotlight
to take big game.  They each received $800 in fines and were placed on a
2 year probationary period for no new fish and wildlife offenses.  The
spotlight was seized and forfeited to the state.

Type: Non-resident Take Sublegal Bull Moose
Text: On 9-16-09, Brian G. Evans, 50 YOA of Osceola IA, appeared in
Dillingham District Court for his arraignment.  He plead no contest to
one count of taking a sublegal bull moose as a non-resident hunter near
Nuyakuk Lake in GMU 17B.  He was fined $500.00, ordered to pay $1000.00
restitution to the State of Alaska for the illegally taken moose, and
the antlers and meat were forfeited to the State.
