Savannah, Georgia – Metro Seeks Suspect In Homicide

SAVANNAH, GA (September 14, 2009) Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department (SCMPD) seeks Mik-hail HAYES, 21, for questioning in the shooting death of a woman shot at the intersection of W. 57 Street and Crane Street, early Sunday morning.
In addition, the suspect is wanted for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and has an active warrant from the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).
Metro Police were dispatched at approximately 2:20 a.m. Sunday morning and found Thomishea McClendon, 26, suffering from a life-threatening gun shot wound. She was transported to Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The suspect and the victim are believed to have been acquaintances.
