Santee, California – Fatal Traffic Collision

On September 2, 2009, at about 06:32 A.M, Santee Traffic and Patrol Deputies, along with Santee Fire personel, responded to the 9200 block of Carlton Oaks Dr, Santee, for a vehicle into 2 parked vehicles collision.
On arrival, the 86 year old driver of the moving vehicle was non responsive.
Paramedics began life saving measures and the driver was transported to Grossmont Hospital. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. Witness statements indicate the driver possibly had a medical emergency just prior to the collision.
All identification is being withheld pending notifying relatives. Santee traffic deputies are handling the investigation.
