What: Sobriety & Drivers License Checkpoint
When: Saturday, July 25, 2009 7:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
Where: On La Brea Avenue between Venice Boulevard and Pico Boulevard
Who: West Traffic Division
Why: The purpose of the sobriety checkpoint is to reduce the number of traffic collisions related to intoxicated and unlicensed drivers through enforcement and public awareness.
Funding for this checkpoint comes from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. We can all help make our streets safer, please report Drunk Drivers – Call 911.
