On Saturday, July 11, 2009, at approximately 4:40p.m., Idaho State Police along with the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on the Pine Bridge, just outside Pine, Idaho in Elmore County. Christopher Frazier, 28 from Marsing, Idaho and Joseph Paine,27 from Boise, Idaho, were riding their motorcycles together on Pine-Featherville Rd, near Pine. Frazier was riding ahead of Paine. At the Pine Bridge, for unknown reasons, Paine hit Frazier’s motorcycle causing both drivers to lose control. Frazier crashed on the roadway. Paine ran off the roadway and into the river below. Paine was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither subject was wearing a helmet, and alcohol appears to be a factor. The crash is under investigation by Trooper R.
