Idaho – Fatal Crash on US95 near Idaho/Adams County Border Claims Grangeville Man

Shortly after 2:30 PM today, July 3rd, 2009, a crash on US95 near the Adams County / Idaho County line claimed the life of one man. Henry Sharp, age 52 of Grangeville was Northbound on US95 near milepost 182 when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle. Sharp went off the highway and struck a tree, then spun around causing slight damage to a parked vehicle. Sharp was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol is not thought to have been a factor. Weather conditions may have been a factor, as there was some hail around the time of the crash. The investigation continues with assistance from Cpl. Nauman and Deputies from both Idaho and Adams Counties.
