Woodstock, Vermont – Homicide Investigation

During the day July 3, 2009 the Vermont State Police continued their investigation into the death of Rayneeta Woodward of Woodstock VT. Ms. Woodward was discovered deceased inside her residence during the day of July 1, 2009. Her death has been determined to be a homicide after an autopsy was performed at the Vermont Chief Medical Examiner’s Office on July 2, 2009.
State Police Detectives have continued to conduct interviews during the day of the 3rd and are awaiting the results of forensic analysis currently being conducted at the Vermont Forensic Laboratory.
As part of this investigation the State Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen or had contact with Charles”Punky” Haynes during the day of July 1, 2009. Anyone who has or has any other information concerning this case should contact the Vermont State Police at 875-2112.
