Holiday parking restrictions will be in effect in the City of Cincinnati on Independence Day, Saturday July 4, and motorists will not be required to pay parking meters on that day. Despite the fact that many agencies and organizations will observe the Independence Day holiday on Friday July 3, parking meters will be enforced in the City of Cincinnati on Friday July 3.
Motorists will be required to pay parking meters in the City of Cincinnati on Friday July 3. “Rush Hour” parking restrictions (No Stopping or Parking 6-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m., etc.) are in effect Monday through Friday and will be enforced on Friday July 3.
All other parking signs are enforceable on both Friday July 3 and Saturday July 4. These are in place for safety and access reasons and apply on holidays as well as other days.
NOTE: Parking lots and parking garages are not exempt from enforcement during the holiday: Motorists must pay to park in these facilities.
