New York – 68 Year Old Pattersonville Man Arrested For Sexual Abuse Of 13 Year Old

The New York State police in Princetown were alerted by the Schenectady County Child Protective Services that during the summer of 2008, a thirteen year old girl was subject to sexual abuse by a sixty eight year old Pattersonville man. For six weeks troopers conducted interviews and worked with the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office, and on Saturday, arrested the following individual:
ROCCO N. IRISH, 68, Main Street, Pattersonville, New York.
IRISH was arrested for Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree, a felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor. IRISH was arraigned before Princtown Town Justice Michelle VanWoeart who issued an order of protection for the young girl. IRISH was released on $1,500 cash bail to appear at a future date.
Troopers are continuing their investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call the Princetown barracks at 518-630-1700.
