Type: Fail to Record Harvest onto State Subsistence Salmon Permit
Text: On 6-27-2009, Alaska Wildlife Troopers issued a citation to Jose
Rubio Jr. 34 yoa of Klawock, for failure to record the harvest of
subsistence salmon onto a subsistence salmon permit after he was
contacted at the public dock in Naukati. Current state subsistence
regulations require all finfish to be immediately marked by removing the
dorsal fin. The harvest further needs to be recorded onto the
subsistence salmon permit before leaving the fishing site. Bail was set
at $110 in the Craig District Court with a response to the court within
30 days.
