At approximately 2250 hours on Wednesday, May 27th, Emilio Esquibel, 78 yoa, from Pocatello ID, was southbound on US91 at Kaigan Drive, in his 2003 GMC Yukon, when he struck Thomas Chippewa, 25 yoa, Blackfoot, Idaho, who was walking southbound near the middle of the road. Chippewa was pronounce dead at the scene. Accident is still under investigation.
