San Jose, California – Fatal Traffic Collision, Auto vs Pedestrian, Lundy Ave at Rosebriar Wy

On Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at 6:21 PM, San Jose Police Officers were dispatched to a major injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian at Lundy Ave at Rosebriar Wy.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was walking westbound on Lundy Ave. crossing in the crosswalk. The driver was traveling southbound on Lundy Ave. when she collided with the victim. The victim was struck by a 2000 blue Mercury Sable driven by Jaimsonblanks. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
There are no indications of drug or alcohol influence. Speed does not appear to be a factor.
