Vice Decoy Nets Seven Arrests!
Detective from the Akron Police Department’s Vice Unit and Gang Unit conducted an undercover decoy operation in the S. Arlington St area on Friday night. As a result of the operations seven individuals were charged with Soliciting. Those arrested were:
William T. Little, 55, of Alexander St.
Shane Stott, 38, of Johnson St.
Terrence Morgan, 58, of School Ave in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
Hernandez G. DelaCruz, 27, of N. Howard St.
Francisco Pio-Xalate, 44, of N. Howard St.
Phillip W. Conrad, 51, of W. Comet Rd in Clinton, Ohio
Darnell T. Gaffney, 21, of Stanton Ave.
The decoy operation was in response to recent complaints from a meeting with residents and business owners in the S. Arlington St area.

News Release for December 21, 2008
Detectives Investigated Death of Missing Person
Akron Police are investigating the death of a 21 year-old male that was found around noon today.
The victim, Rashan C. Lewis of E. Brookside Ave was found inside of a vehicle in a parking lot in the 1100 block of 6th Ave. The cause and manner of death remains under investigation. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy for tomorrow.
Lewis was reported missing by his mother around 9:00 AM this morning.
