DC – Arrest Made in the October 2008 Homicide of David Tucker

Detectives from the department’s Homicide and Sexual Offenses Branch have announced that an arrest has been made in the October 2008 homicide of David Emmett Tucker. On Sunday, November 30, 2008, members from the Sixth District arrested 17-year-old Christopher Todd Holmes after a brief foot chase. Mr. Holmes has been charged as an adult under Title 16 of the D.C. Code with Murder Two While Armed in this case.
Shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, police were called to the 3200 block of 22nd Street, SE, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male suffering from apparent multiple gunshots. The victim who was identified as 37-year-old David Emmett Tucker of District Heights, Maryland, was transported to an area hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
