On 10/19/08 at approximately 0100 hours Tinker was operating a vehicle on Nashville Road when he collided into a telephone pole. Tinker left the scene of the crash failing to report the incident to the police. Tinker was located and upon further investigation it was revealed that Tinker was also intoxicated. Tinker was subsequently arrested and transported to the Williston barracks, where he was processed for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Driving while Intoxicated.
On 10/27/08 the Vermont Department of Heath Laboratory confirmed Tinker had a BAC of 0.156% at the time of operation and he was subsequently issued a citation to appear in Chittenden District Court on 11/13/08 for the above offenses.
