A Sioux Falls man lost his life in a one-vehicle rollover crash around 2:30 Thursday afternoon. The crash happened northeast of Sinai near the 461st Avenue and 216th Street intersection in Brookings County.
Roger W. Kyro, age 54, of Sioux Falls lost control of the GMC Sierra he was driving. The Sierra left the road and rolled in the ditch. Kyro was ejected from the pickup and died at the scene.
Kyro was not wearing his seatbelt. Alcohol is a contributing factor in this crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
