Bank Robbery Update for October 01, 2008

Ralph G. Fry Jr has been taken into custody near Grace Park without incident. He will be booked into the Summit County Jail.

Fry is wanted for the bank robbery of the National City Bank located at 153 E. Exchange St yesterday afternoon.

Major Incidents Reported for October 01, 2008

Detectives have issued another warrant in a recent bank robbery:

Detectives issued a warrant for Angelica Stubblefield, 22, with a last known address on N. Howard St in Akron. Stubblefield is wanted for the robbery of the National City Bank located at 2380 Romig Rd on September 19, 2008 around 10:30 AM where she entered the bank with a note and demanded money. She fled in a getaway car with John L. Brown, 52, of Prange Dr in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Brown has already been taken into custody and was booked into the Summit County Jail.

Angelica Stubblefield is a black female, 5’03” tall and weighs about 140 lbs. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact our department.

Major Incidents Reported for October 01, 2008

Warrant issued in Bank Robbery:

Detectives issued a warrant in the bank robbery of the National City Bank located at 153 E. Exchange St yesterday afternoon around 3:00 PM. A Warrant for robbery was issued for Ralph G. Fry Jr, 52, of Akron.

Fry entered the bank and approached the teller counter. He handed the teller a brown paper bag and a note demanding all twenties dollar bills. The teller gave him money and he left the bank. Fry was last seen on Grant St.

Ralph G. Fry Jr is a white male, 5’10” tall, and weighs about 200 lbs. Fry has no permanent address. Anyone with information of Fry’s’ whereabouts is asked to contact our department.

Felony reports for October 1, 2008

Tyrone McDonald, 21, 18 April Ct., Akron, Ohio was charged with Domestic Violence, Violation Civil Protection Order, Escape and Burglary. Tyrone assaulted the victim who had a civil protector order against him until 3-24-13. Tyrone was place in cuffs and managed to get out of the cuffs and then ran into an unlocked apartment that was occupied by a female and an infant. Tyrone has a prior conviction for domestic violence from 3-31-08.

Prince M J Tyler, 21, 703 Fern St., Akron, Ohio was charged with Forgery and Complicity Uttering. Prince and a juvenile accomplice went into Walgreens at 1303 Copley Rd. and tried to purchase items with a counterfiet $50 bill. The manager checked the bill and the two left the store. Officers stopped the vehicle at 1554 S. Hawkins. Jeryond R. Robinson was driving the vehicle. Jeryond was found to be in possession of counterfeit money. Prince and the juvenile stated they knew the money was counterfeit.

Jeryond R. Robinson, 20, 1039 Biruta Ave, Akron, Ohio was charged with Forgery Uttering and Misrep Identification. Prince and a juvenile accomplice went into Walgreens at 1303 Copley Rd. and tried to purchase items with a counterfiet $50 bill. The manager checked the bill and the two left the store. Officers stopped the vehicle at 1554 S. Hawkins. Jeryond R. Robinson was driving the vehicle. Jeryond was found to be in possession of counterfeit money. Prince and the juvenile stated they knew the money was counterfeit. Jeryond gave the officer false information as to his identity.

Harold F. Thornton II, 30, 1702 Liberty Dr., Akron, Ohio was charged with Domestic Violence. Harold has a prior conviction for domestic violence from 6-5-06.

Gary Burnette, 50, 429 Hudson Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Domestic Violence. Gary has a prior conviction for domestic violence from 7-11-05.

John L. Brown, 52, 3461 Prange Dr., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio was charged with Robbery. John and his accomplice, Angelica Stubblefield robbed the National City Bank at 2380 Romig Rd.

Jackie Jaune Taylor, 39, 858 Seward St., Akron, Ohio was charged with Complicity Aggravated Robbery and Kidnapping. Jackie waited outside in a running vehicle while his accomplice, Julian Devon DeBruce, robbed the victims at gunpoint. Then Julian made one victim go out to the vehicle and the three left the scene. Jackie then drove the victim to another location where he was released unharmed.

Derek W. Reynolds, 28, 2211 7th Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Possession Criminal Tools and Breaking and Entering. Derek was found at 1327 Kentucky Ave. with pieces of copper plumbing and brass valves. He was also in possession of two screwdrivers and a pair of wire cutters.
