The Louisiana Child Passenger Safety Task Force (LPSTF) and Louisiana State Police Troop E are conducting a free child passenger safety seat check-up event on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event will occur at Walker Automotive, 1616 MacArthur Drive, Alexandria, LA.
A limited number of free booster seats will be provided.
Nine out of 10 child passenger safety seats are installed incorrectly with at least two errors. Take a few minutes out of your day to stop by and learn how to properly install your child’s seat and how to secure your child in that seat. Nationally certified child passenger safety technicians will be on site to provide proper installation/instruction.
