September 19, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 10622 Bentley about 3:50 p.m. on Thursday (September 18).
The female victim, Joyoseline Avalos, 4 years of age, of Houston, was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer A. Alaniz reported:
The driver of a black Ford F-150 truck parked at the residence at 10622 Bentley decided to pull the vehicle closer to the house.
The driver (Joyoseline’s uncle) then felt the truck roll over something and the neighbors stated hearing a loud scream. Joyoseline’s uncle got out of the truck and discovered he had run over his niece.
The investigation is continuing.
