Boise, Idaho – Fatal Collision on Connector

Boise, Sept. 5, 2008 – The Boise Police Department is investigating a three vehicle collision that occurred shortly after midnight and left one person dead.
Officers were called to the scene of an injury crash at 12:14 a.m. at west bound 184 near Curtis Rd. Witnesses at the scene stated the vehicle was traveling in excess of 55 mph. The white sedan first side swiped another sedan before striking a pickup head on. After being extricated, the driver of the white sedan was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Deceased is a 43 year old woman from Boise. She was not wearing her seatbelt and we believe alcohol was the primary cause of the crash, The cause of death and identity of the woman will be made by the Ada County Coroner. The 43 year old male driver of the pickup is a Caldwell resident. He was wearing his seatbelt and was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other sedan was not injured.
