August 25, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at the intersection of Airline and Goodson Drive about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday (August 24).
The victim, Crescenio Ortaga, 22, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Gaines reported:
A gold Chrysler Concord was southbound on Airline when Mr. Ortega attempted to cross the street on foot at the intersection of Airline and Goodson Drive. Ortaga ran into the path of the Concord and was struck.
