Payette County - Fatal Crash Update

At this time, family has been notified. Thomas Davis,52 of Payette was the driver of 1994 Dodge pickup.
Idaho State Police and Payette County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one-vehicle fatality crash on Friday, August 22, 2008. The crash was discovered a little after 11:00 pm about 1.3 miles on the Payette County Landfill Road just east of State Highway 52. A 1994 Dodge pickup was traveling east bound on Landfill road when for unknown reasons swerved and went off the north side of the road’s edge. The vehicle rolled, and the driver was ejected. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in this crash. No information about the driver is being released at this time pending family notifications.
This crash is still under investigation by Idaho State Police Corporal Gripton with the assistance from the Payette County Sheriff’s Office.
