Austin, Texas - Bank Robbery #16

Austin Police responded to a bank robbery at the Regions Bank located at 8110
North FM 620. A white male suspect entered the bank and demanded money. He
left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. A short time later, officers
located a subject that matched the description of the suspect. He was taken into
custody without incident.
The suspect has been identified as:
John C. Gunn, White male, (D. O. B. 12/24/63).
He is being charged with Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon. No bond
amount has been set.
This case remains under investigation by APD Robbery detectives. Anyone with
information about this incident is asked to call the Robbery tip line at 974-5092 or
CrimeStoppers at 472-8477. This is the 16th bank robbery of 2008.
