Idaho - One-Vehicle Crash Near Bliss Kills One

On Monday, July 14, 2008, at approximately 7:00 am Idaho State Police responded to a one-vehicle fatality crash east bound on Interstate 84 at milepost 145, four miles east of Bliss. Linda Houston, 46 of Boise, was traveling west bound on Interstate 84 when for unknown reasons her vehicle went off the left side of the road, through the median and rolled through the east bound lanes, coming to rest in a field off the south side of the Interstate. Houston was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from her vehicle. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash.
The crash is under investigation by Trooper Nick Walker. Cpl. D. Gibbs and Cpl. Edwards, along with Gooding County units, assisted him at the scene.
