Fugitive From Pennsylvania Arrested in Burke County

On March 10, 2008, at approximately 2:30 pm, two Burke County Sheriff’s Office detectives acted on information received about a fugitive from Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
Clair Raymond Gould, 34, of 3803 #11 Glenwood Ave., Camp Hill, PA, was arrested on a fugitive warrant for aggravated assault.
The information received, revealed Mr. Gould was residing in the Hwy 18 North area of Chesterfield and was possibly working at a furniture factory in Hildebran. The investigators were provided enough information to establish the employment location and the possible vehicle used by the suspect.
At approximately 3:30 pm, the detectives were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle and identify the suspect as being a passenger in the vehicle. After making a traffic stop in Hildebran, the suspect Clair R. Gould, was arrested without incident. He is being held in the Burke County Jail and is awaiting an extradition hearing scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2008.
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania has been seeking the suspect for ten months on four different charges to include; aggravated assault on an officer by prisoner, aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment.
