Houston - Victim Identified in Incident at 3815 West Fuqua

March 07, 2008 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man found dead at 3815 West Fuqua about 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday (March 4).

An autopsy revealed the victim, Roderick Morgan, 48, of 8706 Covent Garden, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M.A. Khan and T. Pool reported:

A maintenance worker at the apartment complex at 3815 West Fuqua was working on the property and detected a foul odor coming from a 1998 Buick LeSabre parked at the complex. Houston police officers responded and discovered Mr. Morgan dead in the truck of the vehicle. It appears Morgan had been in the trunk for several days.
