Long Beach - SCARRED BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT SOUGHT

On Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at approximately 2:55 p.m., a robbery occurred at the F&M Bank at 302 Pine Avenue. The suspect entered the bank and posed as a customer, presented a demand note to the teller, and stated he had an explosive device. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and he left the bank on foot.
The suspect is described as a male white, gray hair, middle 40’s, approximately 6 foot, and medium build. He may have had recent surgery or some type of injury to his jaw and chin area. There are two small scars on his chin, and he may be wearing a gauze type bandage on his chin. He also has difficulty speaking clearly.
