At approximately 1:50 p.m. yesterday afternoon, a man in a black cowboy hat and boots entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 811 Sheldon Road in Channelview and robbed a teller. The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the robber, who has been dubbed “Bad Bart.”

“Bad Bart” entered the bank and approached an open teller. He threatened the teller with harm if she didn’t hand over her money. Once he had the cash, “Bad Bart” quickly walked out of the bank. No one was physically hurt in the robbery, and no getaway vehicle was spotted.
